Miyamoto Musashi went down in Japanese history as one of the most notable samurai and lived from 1584 to 1645. In memory of this great samurai, the
John Lee Musashi Kazara Katana was made as a special edition. He is known as the best swordsman in Japan. He was a fighter, artist and craftsman at the same time. He developed his own fighting style, which is still taught today as "
Niten Ichiryu". Short and long swords are used simultaneously. His founding of a school for the manufacture of guard plates (tsuba) has not been forgotten. His most famous, very simple tsuba consists of
two oval rings.
In this
special version, the tsuba is also decorated with
fine golden inlays and the other parts are also elegantly designed.
